This piece features an organic bulbous form and a natural volcanic surface, with layers of hand-applied glaze that crack, drip, and shift like melting stone.
Each crack tells a story of tension, release, and transformation – embracing the beauty of imperfection and nature’s unpredictability.
• Hand-built and sculpted in my Los Angeles studio
• Earth-toned glaze with ivory, ash gray, moss green, and deep brown drips
• Asymmetrical opening, perfect as a sculptural object or statement flower vessel
• Each piece is made over the course of several weeks, from clay forming to final firing
